Vector bundles on p-adic curves and parallel transport
We define functorial isomorphisms of parallel transport along etale paths for
a class of vector bundles on a p-adic curve. All bundles of degree zero whose
reduction is strongly semistable belong to this class. In particular, they give
rise to representations of the algebraic fundamental group of the curve. This
may be viewed as a partial analogue of the classical Narasimhan-Seshadri theory
of vector bundles on compact Riemann surfaces.Comment: The main result is now valid for arbitrary reduction; Theorems 5, 16,
17, 18 and 20 are either improvements of results in the first version or new.

Utilisation of waste heat from biogas plants for drying fine-grained legumes (OK-Net Ecofeed Practice Abstract)
Continuous dryer
• The legumes must be mown early. Then they are chopped with knives in the loader wagon (length 3.5 cm).
• As a rule, it is left to dry in the field for one day before being loaded onto wagons. Depending on the weather, two days are also possible to reduce moisture content from 50% to 33%.
• A large loader wagon (see Fig. 2) is always delivered full, which corresponds to one hectare depending on the yield.
• The drying temperature for clover is 79°C on average. The hay runs through the system in 10 to 20 hours, depending on the humidity. The actual residence time in the dryer is 3 to 6 hours.
• The dried clover is baled under high pressure into large square bales weighing around 300 kg (see Fig. 4).
• Instead of using a bale press, the dried hay can be pelleted.
Bale drying
• The fine-grained legumes are mown at the beginning of flowering.
• As long as the crop is still green, it is turned twice on the field.
• In the evening, the hay is rowed. At noon of the following day, the crop is rowed for baling.
• In the afternoon, it is baled. Residual moisture should be between 16-20% and no higher than 22%
• The bales are dried at 40°C for 20 to 24 hours. They must be turned once.
Recommendations for both procedures:
• The dried bales can now be stored and fed directly
• For feeding monogastric animals, the dried legumes should be ground in a mobile grinding and mixing plant (see Fig. 5) and mixed homogeneously into the ration
Role-Modeling in Round-Trip Engineering for Megamodels
Software is becoming more and more part of our daily life and makes it easier, e.g., in the areas of communication and infrastructure. Model-driven software development forms the basis for the development of software through the use and combination of different models, which serve as central artifacts in the software development process. In this respect, model-driven software development comprises the process from requirement analysis through design to software implementation.
This set of models with their relationships to each other forms a so-called megamodel. Due to the overlapping of the models, inconsistencies occur between the models, which must be removed. Therefore, round-trip engineering is a mechanism for synchronizing models and is the foundation for ensuring consistency between models. Most of the current approaches in this area, however, work with outdated batch-oriented transformation mechanisms, which no longer meet the requirements of more complex, long-living, and ever-changing software. In addition, the creation of megamodels is time-consuming and complex, and they represent unmanageable constructs for a single user.
The aim of this thesis is to create a megamodel by means of easy-to-learn mechanisms and to achieve its consistency by removing redundancy on the one hand and by incrementally managing consistency relationships on the other hand. In addition, views must be created on the parts of the megamodel to extract them across internal model boundaries.
To achieve these goals, the role concept of Kühn in 2014 is used in the context of model-driven software development, which was developed in the Research Training Group 'Role-based Software Infrastructures for continuous-context-sensitive Systems.' A contribution of this work is a role-based single underlying model approach, which enables the generation of views on heterogeneous models. Besides, an approach for the synchronization of different models has been developed, which enables the role-based single underlying model approach to be extended by new models. The combination of these two approaches creates a runtime-adaptive megamodel approach that can be used in model-driven software development.
The resulting approaches will be evaluated based on an example from the literature, which covers all areas of the work. In addition, the model synchronization approach will be evaluated in connection with the Transformation Tool Contest Case from 2019
Very High Energy Gamma-Ray Observations of the Galactic Centre Region
Recent progress in pushing the sensitivity of the Imaging Atmospheric
Cherenkov Technique into the 10 mCrab regime has enabled first sensitive
observations of the innermost few 100 pc of the Milky Way in Very High Energy
(VHE; >100 GeV) gamma rays. These observations are a valuable tool to
understand the acceleration and propagation of energetic particles near the
Galactic Centre. Remarkably, besides two compact gamma-ray sources, faint
diffuse gamma-ray emission has been discovered with high significance. The
current VHE gamma-ray view of the Galactic Centre region is reviewed, and
possible counterparts of the gamma-ray sources and the origin of the diffuse
emission are discussed. The future prospects for VHE Galactic Centre
observations are discussed based on order-of-magnitude estimates for a CTA type
array of telescopes.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures, Invited talk at the "4th Heidelberg

Hadron-Hadron Interactions from Lattice QCD: isospin-1 scattering length
We present results for the interaction of two kaons at maximal isospin. The
calculation is based on flavour gauge configurations generated by
the European Twisted Mass Collaboration with pion masses ranging from about
to at three values of the lattice spacing. The
elastic scattering length is calculated at several values of the
bare strange and light quark masses. We find as
the result of a combined extrapolation to the continuum and to the physical
point, where the first error is statistical, and the three following are
systematical. This translates to .Comment: 28 pages, 18 tables, 14 figure
